The reviews on ECS do seem to say it addresses may gripe about the F30 manual. I’m used to the weighted knob on my Solstice.
Also... I do notice a lot of the parts listed on eBay seem to come from Latvia for some reason.

Yeah, Idk why, but Latvia is a hotbed for German parts it seems.

Id skip the BMW knob and go for something like this. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-black-forest-industries-parts/bfi-heavy-weight-shift-knob-black-gsa/gsasb~bfi/ well I actually did do that. Mines just polished aluminum
They have leather wrapped knobs too. Just not that exact style.
Im not a fan of how BMW knobs attach to the lever. just make sure to put some blue loc tite on the set screws for the adaptor if you go with bfi.

Slight problem with the F30 is that even the boot needs to be replaced.
